Bob's affiliation with rhythm got clear at a very early age, leading to first annoying the neighbours non stop, to then non-stop study drums at the Rock Academy in The Netherlands, where he got his Bachelor of Music degree in 2019. 

During his study, Bob ended up in Berlin, to do an Erasmus exchange at the SOPA university of arts, which was followed by half a year in London, due to his internship at the renowned Urban Soul Orchestra.

After graduation Bob lived in Berlin, London and toured around the entire UK and Northern Europe with the Berlin and London based bands Steppers Division (DE) and The Gulls (UK), winning awards and sharing stages with notable acts.

Passionate about development and connection as he is, Bob feels very comfortable with a broad range of genres, from Pop to Latin, (Hard)Rock to Reggae and Blues to Jazz.

Now based in London, Bob plays as a session musician for music labels, takes care of the percussion for the band Fire In Her Eyes, plays drums for several London based artists like Tim Gerard and Will James and shares the stage with American artists like Eric McFadden (ex-Eric Burdon), Omar Torrez (ex-Tom Waits) and Kate Vargas.

He is also connected to the Berlin based composing collective KLANGEIST, with which he composes music for film/TV and games and teaches advanced drum students at his own drum studio in North London.
