Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet and Trumpet 

Gary is an established, successful and popular woodwind teacher in the local area and beyond, having taught  privately since 2001 and in schools since 2006, for Richmond Music Trust and other music services . He also has a wealth of performance experience, having played cornet in a marching band in his youth, then saxophone and flute with his own jazz band at the Bull's Head in Barnes for several years, and with other bands of various genres from funk and soul, to rock’n’roll, at various venues.

He has attained a Licentiate LTCL Performance Diploma on Jazz Saxophone from Trinity College, ABRSM Grade 8 on Sax, Clarinet and Flute, as well as the CTABRSM Teaching Certificate. He boasts a 99.8% success rate from over 600 pupil music exams so far, with 24%  Distinction and 48% Merit. 12 of his pupils have received Music Scholarships or Awards.
