The rental of popular school instruments (saxophones, flutes, clarinets, violins, trumpets etc) is now one of the most popular services we provide at Ritz music.
There are many advantages to initially renting (rather than buying) an instrument, especially for children who are taking up music for the first time, and we now have a large fleet of instruments (all being practised every day we hope!) across many schools and homes in Putney, Fulham, Southfields, Richmond, Wimbledon, Sheen, Barnes etc etc!!
Advantages of Instrument Rental.....
- Renting is a low-cost way to try out a musical instrument without the risk and expense of buying.
- Renting is easy! - just bring along some ID, complete a simple rental-agreement form, pay only the
3 month rental fee (between £30 and £75 depending on the instrument being rented) and that's it!
- All rental Instruments are new or nearly new, and are thoroughly checked before leaving the shop.
- Any servicing or adjustment required during the rental period is free of charge and carried out in
our repair workshops here at Ritz Music.
- There is a minimum rental period of only 3 months... this is usually a long enough period (approx. 1
school term) to decide whether the right instrument choice has been made, whilst still being
affordable.
- Whilst renting, you can upgrade or change to a completely different instrument if you wish.
Rent-to-Buy!... At the end of the initial 3 month rental you can purchase the instrument for a
special discounted price... you can also carry on renting if that's more convenient, or return the
instrument if it's no longer required.

RRP ..............................This is the manufacturer's recommended retail price of the instrument.
Our Price.......................This is the price the instrument is usually sold for at Ritz Music
Initial 3 month rental....This is the total cost of the initial 3 month rental.......please note there is no
deposit or any other hidden cost added to our rental scheme.
(Then) purchase for.........This is the price for which you can purchase the instrument you have been
renting, and applies at the end of the initial 3 month rental or at any point
thereafter.
(Then) rent.....................This is the monthly rental fee we charge if you decide to carry on renting after
the initial 3 month period. Please note that if you wish to do this we will require
your credit card details in order to take monthly payments... you can
of course return the instrument at any time and no further payments will be
taken.
