Tara Maysey
Piano and Ukulele
Tara specialises in early years music and teaches piano to students as young as 3 years old. Her passion is to encourage and nurture a love of music in a fun but educational way and she offers a fantastic introduction to musicality, rhythm, tone and singing.

Tara generally teaches ukulele to students from 6 years old, although she has also developed a pre-school program which she offers in a number of local nursery schools. With her older students Tara works on song-writing, vocal harmonies and performance technique. Tara also has a number of students completing ukulele grades with RGT Registry of Guitar Tutors.

My son loves learning the ukulele with Tara. He has learnt to play a wide repertoire of pieces including tunes by Ed Sheeran, Adele and Clean Bandit, through to traditional carols and folk songs. Tara is now helping him to work towards his grade 3 exam. What an exciting few years it has been!
Tara is a great piano teacher for young learners. She knows how to keep children motivated and make everything simple and fun! The method she used with our 4 year-old son Aaron was absolutely fantastic!
