Maria Januszewska
Violin
Maria has been dedicated to teaching for many years, having worked with students of all ages and levels, and has a very successful record of preparing her students for ABRSM exams.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music (Violin Performance) from the prestigious Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Poland and in 2018 graduated with distinction from the Music Education and Performance MA course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance here in London.
Maria has been involved in many orchestras both in Poland and here in London, where she has played with the King’s Chamber Orchestra, Notting Hill Orchestra and Choir for Film Music, Opera Prelude, London Arts Orchestra, Vox Vanguard Orchestra, London International Sinfonia, London Euphonia, Horton Chamber Orchestra and Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra.
She has given performances in many prestigious venues - LSO St Luke, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and The Tower of London among others. She has also travelled extensively all over Europe and as far afield as China, touring with orchestras, attending masterclasses and sharing her musicianship.
Having been awarded scholarships by Leverhulme Trust, Ashley Family Foundation and Peter Harris Trust, she is currently continuing her studies at Trinity Laban on the Postgraduate Advanced Diploma.
