Our courses offer a great opportunity to meet new friends and have an authentic experience of playing in a band. This process promotes accelerated learning, builds confidence and inspires both children and adults to play more music!
Richard Coulson originally established Rock & Roll Recruits here at Ritz Music & Tuition Centre - larger venues have become necessary due to increasing pupil numbers and he and his team now use selected local venues in Sheen & Putney..
------------ COURSES FOR CHILDREN (ages 8-16 approx) ------------
SCHOOL HOLIDAY BOOT CAMPS
This 4-day course is the perfect chance for 8-11 & 12-16 year olds to play in a group and jam with a band, whilst working towards a public gig at the end of the course. All abilities and instruments welcome. All tutors are professional musicians with a wealth of experience in tuition and the live music scene. All tutors have an enhanced DBS certificate.
These courses run every school holiday.

WEEKLY WORKSHOPS
If you ever wish you hadn't given up an instrument or still play but would like to experience playing in a band, then contact us for more info on how to sign up!
16-session course
This will be a weekly course with a view to get approximately 10 songs for the headline slot at the final gig at The Half Moon in Putney.
12-session course
This will be a fortnightly course, running concurrent with the 16-session course. The aim is to get 5-6 songs together to open the show at the final gig at The Half Moon.
The sessions are led by industry professionals who direct the band and arrange the songs as needed.
